Frequently asked questions

How do I write the range?

Separate with commas, use a hyphen for ranges: 1-3, 8, 12-20. Spaces don't matter. Reverse ranges are rejected.

Does my original change?

No. The source file is untouched; splitting creates new files.

How are the split files named?

The page range is appended to the source file name so you can tell which part came from where.

Are bookmarks kept?

Bookmarks that point inside the extracted range carry over; the rest are dropped.
